A Conversation Between Plate and Glass. A five course whisky pairing dinner to benefit Second Harvest

Anthony Walton and Neyah White: the cook and the whisky man

“Exploring the interplay between Japan’s Food and The Art of Japanese Whisky”
The Whiskies of Japan have earned numerous awards of late and celebrate a tradition extending back a full century. Join us as we talk about the traditions and their roots as we experience Whisky with food as the Japanese do. Artfully crafted plates by Anthony Walton, who has been manning the stoves a Beaker and Flask, capture the essence of Japanese culture through the elegant pairing of food and spirit. Discussing the finer points of these spirits is Neyah White, one of San Francisco’s most accomplished barmen who has stepped out from behind the bar to immerse himself in Japanese Whisky while working as Brand Ambassador for Yamazaki Single Malt. Share a table with two of the industry’s finest for this opportunity to savor these beautiful whiskies in an intimate setting accompanied by contemporary cuisine.
