    Hey everyone!

Heather (the wife) just returned from San Francisco and brought with her some fun things that I have a mind to play with. Sorry, Daniel - the VEP was the same price as it is available here in OR, so we didn't get any.

However, I'm now the proud owner of:

    *St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram

    *Anchor's Genevieve

    *Rhum Clement VSOP

I made some Donn the Beacomber Navy Grogs with the St. Elizabeth (my, oh, my!) last night. I now have a goal for my Pimento Drams to get to.

Does anyone want to stop by sometime and put these spirits to test? Or, rather, does anyone have any suggestions for experimentation?

  1.
My parents wisely brought me some gifts up from California this weekend. Two aren't available here and one is, but they picked it up at a much better price. The two that aren't available- Ordoki Patxaran- a basque, sloe berry liqueur Amaro Nonino- I'm always happy to add to my amari collection And the one that is- Tremontis Mirto- an Italian myrtleberry liqueur They picked up the mirto for me because its about $15 a bottle cheaper in CA than OR.

I also recently found the Clement Creole Shrubb to add to the collection.

The sloe berry liqueur sounds interesting - do you think it would make an intriguing Singapore Sling?

I've got a bottle of cashew feni coming tomorrow along with more amaro, some arak, and Indian rum
  3.
I'm doing a caipirinha style drink with the feni to start. I drink arak straight, the rum should be interesting though
