    The Foodie Subsphere of the Greater English-writing Blogosphere throws a "blog-in" called Monthly Blog Patrol, in which participants are encouraged to look at another blog, make a recipe from it, and post about doing so, with pictures (and subordinate phrases also).

    The theme of the Monthly Blog Patrol for March is MIXED DRINKS. The basic criteria for participation is: blog about mixing a mixed drink that was blogged on another blog, before March 24, and inform the LiveToEat blog. It's all too simple.
    Full rules (and specifics) here. Pictures do seem to be important (it may have been the food-bloggers who originated the phrase "pix or it didn't happen").

    This is a fine opportunity for those of us with blogs to reach out to food bloggers and touch faith or tongues enrapturing them to visit our own ghetto of the orblog where they might get their drink on.

    Hmm, MxMo is this monday, and I've got the Tales punch and Averna cocktail due too. I might not be able to get this one going.

    Unfortunately I can't enter most of the other contests (I am disqualified since I co-own a distillery, its a blanket exclusion in most cases), so I am excited about this one!  This is a neat idea, thanks for posting it.
