Come join David Shenaut and Ricky Gomez this Sunday for a day of agave immersion. We will be discussing all things agave, from cultural relevance and history to the production methods of both mezcal and tequila. We have a thorough slide show with pictures from Oaxaca and Jalisco to go along with a discussion detailing the distinct differences within both categories. There will be a wide ranging flight of mezcal and tequila from many regions of Mexico and some surprises in there as well. To round out your agave experience, Brandon Aguirre and Anthony Walton will be dueling it out with braised pork dishes. And, what’s an agave class without margaritas? It is an experience not to miss.
